large pinch crushed red pepper flakes

brown sugar

broken sourdough pretzel pieces

roasted and salted peanuts

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350F. Assemble croutons, pretzels, corn cereal, and peanuts in a large bowl.

Step 2

Mix together butter, mustard, honey, Worcestershire, onion and garlic powders, 1 tbsp mustard powder, red pepper flakes, and salt in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Cook while whisking until the butter melts and it all begins to bubble. Remove from heat.

Step 3

Pour the sauce mix over the dry mix and toss until thoroughly coated.

Step 4

Spread everything out on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake 20 min or until lightly toasted and mostly dry, stirring and tossing about halfway through. Allow to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet.

Step 5

With your hands, rub together the brown sugar and remaining 1 teaspoon mustard powder. Transfer the toasted snack mix to a large bowl and toss with the mustard + brown sugar rub.

Step 6

Let cool completely, then store in an airtight container.
