Slice your garlic and shallot first. Grab a medium sized stock pot or a deep skillet, preferably one that has a lid. Coat bottom with olive oil, and fry your sliced shallots and garlic. Remove once golden and crispy.
Fork your meat all over, drizzle with olive oil, and season thoroughly. Turn burner to high heat, and sear meat on all sides until charred in the same pot you cooked your shallots and garlic in.
Turn heat to low/medium and add your water and BRIANNAS Classic Steak Marinade. Simmer for at least an hour or until steak is shredding on its own with no issue, or wait til cooled if you need to shred it by hand.
Once steak is tender and shredded, remove from skillet and set aside. Put your skillet back on the burner on low.
Put skillet back on burner on low. Now assemble your sandwich.
Now assemble your sandwich. Butter your bread and place face down like you’re making a grilled cheese. Place cheese on the other side, followed by your shredded steak, more cheese, thousand island, crispy garlic and shallots, and your top piece of bread.
Toast on both sides, and you’re ready to eat!
